Job summary

Bauer (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. seeks an experienced Mechanic for Hydraulic Deep Vibrator Units to keep specialized ground-improvement equipment running safely on construction sites. You will perform maintenance, troubleshoot breakdowns, and repair vibro units on site.

The role requires a certificate in mechanical engineering or equivalent and a minimum of five years' experience in maintenance and repair of deep vibrators and related equipment. On-site work with Bauer's global standards is essential.

Qualifications

• Maintenance and repair experience on deep vibrators and construction equipment.
• Hands-on ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on hydraulic engine and power pack as well as other construction equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic failures of vibro units and other construction equipment at project sites.
• Replace worn-out parts like clamps, heavy springs, gearboxes, and vibratory motors and fixing bearings, seals, and moving parts.
• Inspect equipment safety compliance before heavy lifting or high-pressure ground operations begin.
• Testing and repairing fluid power systems, pumps, and valves.
• Servicing and overhauling hydraulic vibro units.

Mechanic For Hydraulic Deep Vibrator Units

Keeps specialized ground-improvement units equipment with deep vibrators and power packs running safely and efficiently on construction sites. To perform maintenance, investigate breakdowns and repair works efficiently on site.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on hydraulic engine and power pack as well as on other construction equipment, including but not limited to wear and tear, greasing bearings, checking hydraulic fluid and filters
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic failures of vibro units and other construction equipment at project sites
• Replace worn-out parts like clamps, heavy springs, gearboxes, and vibratory motors and fixing bearings, seals, and structural moving parts
• Inspect equipment safety compliance before heavy lifting or high-pressure ground operations begin
• Testing and repairing fluid power systems, pumps, and valves
• Servicing and overhauling hydraulic vibro units

About you

• Certificate mechanical engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years' experience in maintenance and repair of deep vibrators and other construction equipment
