Job summary

B. Braun Medical Industries Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a Facilities Engineer to plan plant, office and production equipment layouts for economy of operation and maximum utilization of facilities.

You will review design costs, develop specs, and ensure compliance with building and safety codes. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science and 2 years' experience are required; experience with SAP, PLC, CNC and automation is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering or science.
• Minimum 2 years of related experience.
• Hands-on experience in machine troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Experience with CNC, robotics arms, molding injection, hydraulic press and laser marking.
• Proficient with SAP and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Good knowledge of electrical schematic diagrams.
• Experience with PLC and electrical maintenance.
• Strong English communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan plant, office and production equipment layouts for efficient operation.
• Review and estimate design costs including equipment, installation, labor, and materials.
• Develop criteria and performance specs for facilities and equipment to meet requirements and codes.
• Support supervisor as needed and handle documentation.

Job description

Responsible for planning plant, office and production equipment layouts for economy of operation and maximum utilization of facilities and equipment.

Reviews and estimates design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costs.

Develops criteria and performance specifications for facilities and equipment required to meet unique operating requirements and building and safety codes.

The job function listed is not exhaustive and shall also include any responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor from time to time.

Bachelor Degree in Engineering field/ Science.

Minimum with 2 years of experience in this field.

Having hands-on experience in machine troubleshooting & preventive maintenance.

Experienced in CNC, robotics arm.

Experienced in molding injection, hydraulic press and laser marking.

Experienced in dust collector system

Good proficiency in using SAP.

Good proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint).

Good knowledge of Electrical schematic diagram.

Possess experience working with PLC and Electrical Maintenance.

Must possess good command of English (Both speaking and writing).

Well-organized person and willing to work on documentation.
