Bauer (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee the installation of stone columns and related ground-improvement works in Penang.
You will monitor rig setups, ensure adherence to specifications, and coordinate a team of operators, riggers and laborers on a day-to-day basis. The role requires 3–5 years of supervision experience in geotechnical works, proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, and CIDB Site Supervisor certification.
Oversee stone column installation. Manage day-to-day site operations, ensure strict adherence to engineering specifications, and maintain the highest standards of safety and quality control.
Key responsibilities
Oversee installation of stone columns (vibro-replacement / vibro-displacement)
Monitor rig setups, depth, compaction criteria, and consumption materials
Coordinate daily activities of operators, riggers, and site laborers
Manage site logistics including the delivery and stockpiling of aggregates
Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and method statements
Maintain accurate records of daily logs, installation logs, and material consumption
Assist in testing and inspection procedures (e.g., plate load tests)
Enforce HSE regulations and ensure a zero-accident working environment
Liaise closely with project managers, clients, consultants, and subcontractors
Resolve on-site issues promptly to prevent project delays
About you
Diploma Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
Minimum 3–5 years of site supervision experience, specifically in ground improvement or geotechnical works (Stone Columns, Piling, or Dynamic Compaction)
Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia
CIDB Accredited Site Supervisor Certificate and CIDB Green Card
