Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Production Materials Planner to plan, manage and coordinate the flow of production-related materials to support manufacturing activities in Terengganu. You will collaborate with Warehouse and Production Planning to monitor material status and consumption, maintain target inventory levels, reduce obsolete stock, and set safety stock based on schedule and forecast.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and coordinate production materials to ensure continuous manufacturing support.
• Collaborate with Warehouse and Production Planning to monitor material status and consumption.
• Maintain inventory levels at or below target thresholds, while reducing obsolete stock.
• Establish and regularly update safety stock levels based on the production schedule and demand forecast.
• Monitor inbound logistics costs and reduce premium freight where possible.
• Execute tasks per instructions from the immediate supervisor.

• Maintain inventory levels at or below target thresholds, while actively managing and reducing obsolete stock.
• Establish and regularly update safety stock levels based on the production schedule and demand forecast.
• Monitor and control inbound logistics costs, including efforts to reduce premium freight expenses.
• Execute tasks and responsibilities according to instructions and plans provided by the immediate superior.
