Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a skilled materials planner to join our manufacturing team. You will plan and monitor material flow, schedule requirements, and ensure timely replenishment to meet production demands.

Based in Kampung Baru Ulu Tiram, you will collaborate with Warehouse and suppliers, maintain accurate master data, analyze stock levels, and contribute to cost-reduction and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or related field.
• At least 3 years in material planning, inventory control, or related roles.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Strong written and spoken English communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, monitor, and control material flow to meet production on time.
• Plan and schedule material requirements based on production plans.
• Monitor timely replenishment of materials.
• Track incoming materials and follow up with suppliers to avoid delays.
• Maintain material master data, including min stock levels and lead times.
• Analyze inventory levels and report slow-moving or excess materials.
• Collaborate with Warehouse to ensure accurate stock counts and efficient flow.
• Communicate material risks or shortages to Production.
• Participate in cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Undertake any task as required.

• Plan and schedule material requirements based on production plans and sales forecasts.
• Monitor to ensure timely replenishment of materials.
• Track incoming materials and follow up with suppliers to avoid delays or stockouts.
• Maintain accurate material master data, including minimum stock levels and lead times.
• Analyse inventory levels and prepare reports for slow‑moving, obsolete, or excess materials.
• Work closely with Warehouse to ensure accurate stock counts and efficient material flow.
• Communicate material risks, shortages, or supply issues to the Production.
• Participate in cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
• To undertake any task as and when required.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Possess Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of working experiences in material planning, inventory control, or related roles.
• Highly organized and attention to detail.
• Possess strong communication and presentation skills with good command of written and spoken English.
