Job summary

CHY TECHNOLOGY(M)SDN BHD is seeking a Production Planner to translate customer orders into actionable schedules and coordinate across Production, QC, Warehouse and Engineering teams. The role focuses on delivering orders on time by balancing capacity, materials and manpower.

You will monitor progress, adjust plans for delays or changes, and maintain accurate planning records to support efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily and weekly production plans based on customer orders and production requirements.
• Coordinate production schedules with Production, QC, Warehouse, and Engineering departments.
• Monitor production progress and ensure orders are completed according to schedule.
• Check production capacity, manpower, machines, and material availability before scheduling.
• Prepare and update production schedules and work orders.
• Monitor raw material and component requirements and coordinate with Warehouse/Purchasing.
• Follow up on production delays, shortages, and urgent orders.
• Adjust production plans according to customer requirements, machine availability, and production conditions.
• Maintain accurate production planning records and reports.
• Monitor inventory levels and avoid material shortages or excess stock.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure on-time delivery.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production planning reports.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
