Job summary

Jabil in Penang, Malaysia seeks a Master Planner to manage all planning activities for the dedicated workcell and mentor Production Planners and Document Coordinators. You will develop the Master Production Schedule (MPS), load it into Jabil’s ERP, ensure PO coverage, reconcile to customer demand, and maintain BOMs and routings while driving 100% on-time delivery.

You will oversee capacity planning, material control, and collaboration with manufacturing to optimize schedules, reduce changeovers,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree + 5 years of experience, or Masters + 3 years of related experience, or PhD without experience.
• APICS Certification and supervisor experience preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of MRP, lead times for specific component types, internal run rates, test development lead times.

Responsibilities

• Ensure 100% on-time delivery.
• Develop Master Production Schedule (MPS) and load into ERP with PO coverage.
• Reconcile MPS to customer PO coverage weekly.
• Lead creation of Bills of Material (BOMs) and routings for accurate tracking.
• End-of-Life (EOL) management and quarterly schedule reviews.
• Maintain safety and company security procedures.
