Job summary

Jabil in Malaysia’s Penang site seeks a Production Planning Leader to manage all planning activities for a dedicated workcell and mentor the Planning team. You will develop the Master Production Schedule (MPS), ensure 100% on-time delivery, and maintain BOMs and routings with ERP system support.

Responsibilities include reconciling MPS with customer PO coverage, optimizing capacity, and driving continual improvements in planning accuracy and efficiency. APICS certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of MRP, lead times, and production sequencing.
• Experience with BOMs, routing, and WIP tracking.
• APICS certification preferred.
• Strong forecasting and capacity planning capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure 100% on-time delivery.
• Establish build readiness for the workcell.
• Maintain capacity efficiency and accurate customer sizing.
• Maintain revenue forecasting and material control.
• Develop Master Production Schedule (MPS) and load into ERP.
• Reconcile MPS to customer PO coverage weekly.
• Maintain 100% MPS accuracy and 95% MPS goal.
• Own production planning, BOM and document control.
• Lead creation of BOMs and routings for accurate tracking.
• Manage EOL; lead last-build planning and resistance reduction.
• Manage internal purge processes for the workcell.
• Adhere to safety, health, and security policies.
