Job summary

J&T Express Malaysia is seeking a Market Operations/Business Operations Executive (LOGISTIC) to drive market development for the company’s transportation platform. You will source upstream and downstream partners, onboard transportation companies, and expand fleets to broaden platform reach.

You will build and strengthen long-term relationships with fleets and partners to increase platform adoption and ensure stable partnerships, while coordinating with internal teams to implement improvements

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in transportation, logistics, fleet, or business development.
• Experience in fleet sourcing, partner management, or vendor management is an advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to travel when required.
• Relevant experience is valued over academic qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop market for the transportation platform including upstream and downstream partner sourcing and onboarding of transportation companies.
• Strengthen relationships with fleets and partners to boost platform adoption and partnership stability.
• Act as the liaison between the platform and transportation companies/fleets for smooth coordination.
• Monitor daily operational performance of fleets and partners on the platform and resolve issues.
• Collect market and operational feedback and work with internal teams to improve platform features and services.
• Coordinate with internal teams to implement and optimize transportation-related operations.

Market Operations/Business Operations Executive (LOGISTIC)

Responsible for market development of the company’s transportation platform, including upstream and downstream partner sourcing, onboarding of transportation companies, and expansion of new fleets.

Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with existing fleets and partners to enhance platform adoption, usage rate, and partnership stability.

Act as the key liaison between the platform and transportation companies / fleets, ensuring smooth communication and coordination across upstream and downstream stakeholders.

Monitor daily operational performance of fleets and partners on the platform, proactively identifying and resolving operational issues or exceptions to ensure smooth business operations.

Collect market and operational feedback from fleets and partners, and work closely with internal teams to support continuous improvement of platform features, processes, and service experience.

Coordinate with internal teams (e.g. operations, product, system, or support teams) to facilitate platform implementation, optimization, and ongoing operational improvements in transportation-related business.

Requirements

Relevant experience in transportation, logistics, fleet, or business development is preferred.

Experience in fleet sourcing, partner management, or vendor management is an advantage.

Strong communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.

Good problem-solving and relationship management skills.

Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Willing to travel when required.
