Job summary

Pacific International Lines (PIL) in Malaysia seeks a seasoned Utilization Manager to optimize cargo space and vessel utilization in Selangor. You will coordinate with CS, operations, and terminals, monitor loading factors, and forecast capacity three times weekly to support sales and planning.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 3–4 years in maritime operations, strong English communication, and proficiency with Microsoft 365 in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3–4 years of experience in the maritime industry or equivalent.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Change management mindset and ability to adapt to evolving business needs.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications.

Responsibilities

• Control and monitor space to fulfill BSA/ BWA.
• Coordinate with consortium partner, CS team, Operation team, and terminal.
• Manage allocation by customer and cargo mix to optimize space utilization.
• Provide forecast (CBF) to partner and trade 3 times a week.
• Monitor and update loading factor and share with stakeholders.
