Job summary

Pacific International Lines (PIL) invites applications for a Utilization Management Executive in Selangor, Malaysia. The role focuses on managing vessel capacity, optimizing container space, and guiding booking decisions to balance customer needs with operational efficiency.

The successful candidate will collaborate with Sales, Logistics, Trade, Customer Service, and back-office teams to implement booking rules and analyze demand, vessel constraints, and market trends to drive space optimization

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor degree with 1–2 years' Maritime Industry experience.
• Fluent in both spoken and written English.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365.
• Knowledge of liner shipping is preferred.
• Strong organizational and coordination abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and solve problems proactively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee vessel capacity allocation and space optimization.
• Coordinate with Sales, Logistics, and Customer Service teams.
• Support booking decisions to balance customer needs and efficiency.
• Implement and adjust booking acceptance rules.
• Analyze market trends and vessel constraints for space optimization.
• Maintain visibility trackers for customer base and top clients.
