Job summary

Teleport is seeking a Manager, Cargo Operations in Malaysia to lead end-to-end air cargo, warehouse, and ramp operations, ensuring maximum flight utilization, compliance with aviation authorities, and seamless service delivery. You will supervise ground handling partners and operational teams, acting as the primary contact for external agents and regulators.

The role requires 7+ years in air cargo operations, strong leadership, and expertise in yield management, space utilization, and vendor SLA

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Aviation, or equivalent field.
7+ years in air cargo operations with ground handling and hub/warehouse oversight.
Operational leadership, managing disruptions and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Experience in flight capacity optimization, space utilization, and vendor SLA management.
Strong negotiation, problem-solving and cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee end-to-end air cargo, warehouse, and ramp operations.
Manage ground handling partners and supervise operational teams.
Serve as primary contact for external agents and civil aviation authorities.
Ensure regulatory compliance with local customs, aviation safety and security standards.
Coordinate cargo acceptance, build-up, breakdown, and ramp processes with GHAs.
Disruption and claim management with swift recovery planning.
Coordinate cargo transfers across third-party CTOs.
