Job summary

DG MARITIME SDN. BHD. in Klang, Selangor seeks a dedicated Customer Service (Export/Import) professional for a full-time role.

You will be the main contact for customers, handling export/import queries, processing orders and documentation, and coordinating with operations, logistics and accounts to ensure timely shipments. The ideal candidate will have maritime/export customer service experience, strong communication skills, proficiency with CRM and MS Office, and a diploma or equivalent in

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a customer service role, ideally within the maritime, logistics or export industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information clearly
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple customer enquiries simultaneously
• Proficiency with customer relationship management (CRM) systems and Microsoft Office applications
• A customer-centric mindset with genuine commitment to providing outstanding service
• Problem-solving capabilities and the ability to remain calm under pressure
• Knowledge of export procedures, shipping documentation or maritime operations (preferred but not essential)
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage
• Diploma or equivalent qualification in business administration, customer service or a related field
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound customer enquiries related to export services via telephone, email and chat channels
• Provide accurate information regarding export procedures, shipping schedules, documentation requirements and pricing
• Process customer orders and export documentation with accuracy and attention to detail
• Coordinate with internal departments including operations, logistics and accounts to resolve customer issues efficiently
• Maintain comprehensive and detailed customer records in our system to ensure continuity of service
• Follow up with customers to ensure their export shipments are progressing smoothly and on schedule
• Address customer complaints and concerns with professionalism and work towards amicable resolutions
• Provide quotations and assist customers with product and service inquiries
• Contribute to achieving customer service targets and performance metrics
• Support the customer service team with additional administrative tasks as needed
