UNIGRA FOOD PROCESSING ASIA PACIFIC SDN BHD is seeking a proactive Human Resource Assistant Manager to partner with the HR Manager in driving HR operations, employee relations, and compliance across the plant in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The role requires 5–7 years of HR experience in manufacturing, with 2–3 years in a supervisory capacity, plus strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws and trade union relations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5–7 years of progressive HR experience in manufacturing.
• 2–3 years in supervisory/Assistant Manager capacity.
• Experience with trade union relations, collective bargaining, and industrial relations.
• Knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act and related guidelines.
• Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office; strong English and BM communication.

Responsibilities

• Partner to HR Manager; support HR operations, employee relations, and compliance.
• Manage trade union matters, grievances, and collective agreements compliance.
• Oversee end-to-end payroll processing with statutory compliance.
• Coordinate employee relations, disciplinary processes, and policy alignment.
• Support recruitment, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Prepare HR reporting, metrics, and analytics for management decisions.
• Assist with compensation, benefits structures, performance appraisals, and training programs.
• Ensure adherence to labor laws, safety standards, and SOPs.
