Job summary

NCS Global Technology Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia is hiring a Manufacturing Technician to install, set up, test, and commission new manufacturing equipment and production lines.

You will diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues, and respond to urgent breakdowns to minimize downtime. You should have a technical certificate or diploma in engineering, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with vendors and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in a relevant engineering field.
• Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical and electronic systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Install, set up, test, and commission new manufacturing equipment and lines.
• Source, install and integrate equipment, tooling, and fixtures with vendors.
• Qualify and validate equipment; prepare technical reports and documentation.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair mechanical/electrical/electronic issues.
• Respond promptly to unexpected breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Electronic troubleshooting including PLC programming and diagnostics.
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance procedures.
• Tune equipment parameters to optimize performance and yield.
• Identify and implement equipment modifications with testing.
• Support process optimization for reliability and efficiency.
