Job summary
Upright Talent in Malaysia is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair electrical, instrumentation and automation equipment. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, calibration, recording maintenance work, and supporting junior technicians.
The role offers 5-day work week, multinational FMCG exposure, and opportunities for career progression. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of manufacturing experience, strong PLC knowledge, and be able to work shifts
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in electrical, instrumentation and automation maintenance.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing.
- Good knowledge of PLC and industrial electrical equipment.
- Chargeman / Wireman certificate is an added advantage.
- Able to work on shifts and support OT when required.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, instrumentation and automation equipment.
- Carry out regular checks and preventive maintenance on plant equipment.
- Maintain motors, sensors, PLCs, control systems and electrical circuits.
- Identify and fix equipment faults and breakdowns.
- Carry out basic calibration of instrumentation equipment.
- Attend to urgent equipment breakdowns when required.
- Keep proper records of maintenance and repair work.
- Support and guide junior technicians when needed.
