Job summary

HID Global in Kulai, Malaysia, is seeking a Technician II to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production equipment in a manufacturing environment. You’ll work with the Maintenance Engineer to keep machines running, perform preventive maintenance and document activities to support ISO records.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Mechanical / Mechatronic / Manufacturing Engineering.
• 2–3 years of experience in a Maintenance department of a manufacturing organization.
• Fresh entry applicants are welcome to apply.
• Knowledge of Preventive Maintenance on Mechanical, Pneumatic and Electronic components.
• Experience with PLC, CMMS & OEE tools would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Report to Maintenance Engineer and monitor machine condition.
• Perform preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Set up and adjust machines per product/process requirements as needed.
• Collaborate with Engineering, QA and Production to maintain quality and productivity.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and downtime.
