Job summary

Plexus Manufacturing Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks an Automation Technician to design, implement, and maintain automated solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, and safety in our production lines.

You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues, repair components such as sensors, PLCs and HMIs, and assist in installing and calibrating new equipment on shift.

Qualifications

• Diploma in electronics/manufacturing/engineering.
• At least 3 years of related experience.
• Able to work shifts.
• Equivalents may be considered with suitable experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on automated machinery, robotics, and control systems to minimize downtime and optimize production.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on automated equipment.
• Repair or replace faulty components including sensors, motors, PLCs, HMIs, and other control devices.
• Assist in the installation, setup, and calibration of new automated production lines and equipment.
