Job summary

Ambu Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a maintenance technician to ensure machines are set up and maintained for continuous production of quality products. You will perform planned preventive maintenance, document repairs, troubleshoot breakdowns, and collaborate with shift technicians to minimize downtime; 12-hour rotating shifts and English communication are advantageous.

The role requires a certificate/diploma in Mechatronic or Electronic Engineering and at least 2 years in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• At least Certificate/Diploma in Mechatronic/Electronic Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of programming and PLCs.
• Ability to work on 12 hours rotating shifts.
• English communication is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain machines for continuous production of quality products.
• Carry out planned preventive maintenance.
• Ensure that all machine records and documentation are completed after repairs/maintenance.
• Troubleshoot machine problems and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with shift technicians to ensure above tasks are carried out effectively.
