Sanmina-SCI Systems (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (Technoplex Penang) is seeking a technician to promptly respond to downtime, diagnose faults, and perform rapid electrical, mechanical, or software troubleshooting to restore production and test equipment.

You will execute precise setup and changeovers, dismantle and repair machinery per manuals, and conduct post-repair checks. The role also invites participation in Lean Six Sigma projects to improve line efficiency and safety on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Education: Professional Certificate or Diploma in electrical, mechanical or mechatronics engineering or equivalent.
• Experience: 1–2 years in high-volume manufacturing, preferably with battery maintenance exposure.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics and blueprints.

Responsabilités

• Attend downtime, diagnose and repair production/test equipment promptly.
• Execute precise equipment setup, calibration and changeovers.
• Dismantle, repair and reassemble machinery per manuals and schematics.
• Perform post-repair testing and authorized equipment modifications.
• Contribute to Lean Six Sigma projects to reduce waste and improve line efficiency.
