Job summary

ELS is seeking a results-driven Student Advisor to join the Enrolment & Admissions team in Malaysia. You will guide prospective students through the enrolment journey, build relationships, and identify new business opportunities to hit monthly targets.

You will work on-site at our Damansara Perdana headquarters, engaging with Mandarin-speaking clients and collaborating with a diverse international education team. Immediate availability preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma, degree, or professional qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business, Education, or related field.
• 1–2 years of sales experience; education sector experience is a plus.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin, both spoken and written.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong presentation, negotiation, persuasion, and closing abilities.
• Customer-focused, confident, resilient and able to handle rejection.
• Good time management and organisational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with CRM systems, especially HubSpot, is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage and nurture prospective student enquiries from initial contact through to enrolment.
• Build strong relationships with prospective students and deliver excellent customer experience.
• Conduct sales consultations, present programmes and confidently close enrolments.
• Achieve and exceed monthly sales and enrolment targets.
• Maintain knowledge of ELS programmes, services and enrolment processes.
• Prepare and deliver engaging presentations to prospective students.
• Identify new sales opportunities and contribute to recruitment initiatives.
• Update and maintain lead and customer information in the CRM system.
• Monitor, report on sales activities, pipeline progress and results.
• Follow up consistently to maximise conversion opportunities.
• Oversee sales administration and enrolment documentation.
• Participate in training and development activities to enhance sales and communication skills.
