Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate all customs clearance operations to ensure seamless import and export activities.
  • Liaise closely with clients, customs authorities, and relevant agencies to ensure full compliance with national and international trade regulations.
  • Oversee the preparation, verification, and submission of import/export documentation, including permits and tariff codes.
  • Supervise a small team managing customs documentation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
  • Address and resolve customs‑related issues, discrepancies, or delays promptly to minimize disruption.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with port, airport, and shipping agents to expedite clearance processes.
  • Stay up to date with evolving customs laws and procedures, ensuring company practices remain compliant and efficient.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in customs clearance, freight forwarding, or related logistics operations.
  • Solid understanding of import/export documentation, customs procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and analytical problem‑solving abilities.

Remuneration & Benefits
  • Basic Salary: RM 5,000
  • Statutory Contributions: EPF, SOCSO, EIS
  • Benefits: Annual Leave, Bonus & Other Allowances
  • Working Hours: Monday–Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM; Alternate Saturdays: 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM (alternate Saturday after probation)
