RUNJIAN (M) SDN. BHD. is seeking a Sales Manager to lead business development for its AI-powered education solutions in Malaysia, focusing on the Chinese education ecosystem.

You will build strategic relationships with schools, tuition centres and education stakeholders, and drive recurring SaaS revenue. This hunter role requires Mandarin fluency, strong prospecting, and the ability to engage school leadership and teachers.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of B2B or education technology sales experience.
• Experience selling SaaS or subscription-based software is highly preferred.
• Fluent in Mandarin (spoken and written) – required for daily engagement with schools and stakeholders.
• Strong relationship-building and hunter sales mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for the education sector.
• Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities.
• Build relationships with Chinese primary schools, school heads, administrators, teachers, PIBG committees, tuition centre owners, and education associations.
• Conduct product demonstrations and customer presentations.
• Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting to contract signing.
• Work closely with marketing to organize seminars, workshops, and education events.
• Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Gather customer feedback and market intelligence to improve product positioning.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and CRM records.
• Collaborate with product and technical teams during onboarding.
