Job summary

Lotte Chemical Titan (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a senior logistics professional to oversee materials allocation, monitor payments, and manage orders and vessel bookings. You will lead the Shipping Logistics team, liaise with vendors, and drive cost-efficient freight and forwarding solutions while ensuring compliance with LC/SI requirements.

You will also establish standard ISO procedures, working instructions and forms, and address customer complaints promptly to protect service levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in logistics or related field is required.
• Minimum 8 years in logistics with 5+ years in a managerial role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities are required.
• Understanding of logistics and shipping business processes is needed.
• Ability to lead a team with solid management skills and proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee materials allocation and monitor payment status.
• Monitor sale orders, vessel booking, hauliers, and forwarding status.
• Check LC/SI to ensure vessel booking compliance and meet customer requirements.
• Conduct meetings with Sales and Shipping Logistics to discuss orders, payments, bookings, and deliveries.
• Engage vendors to discuss freight, haulier and customs forwarding services and equipment issues.
• Monitor and negotiate the most competitive freight, container trucking and forwarding.
• Handle and investigate customer complaints to ensure timely resolution.
• Establish ISO procedures, working instructions and update forms.

Conduct meeting with Sales and Shipping Logistics team to highlight and discuss on order, payment, booking and export deliveries issues

Contact meeting with vendor to discuss on freight, services, haulier services, custom forwarding services and equipment related issues

Monitor and negotiate the most competitive freight, containers trucking and custom forwarding

Handle and investigate customer complaints to ensure that the issue is resolve timely

Experienced and capable of establishing standard ISO procedures, Working Instruction and Forms update

Requirements

Bachelor Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or relevant field

Minimum 8 years experience in the related field with at least 5 years in managerial role, same field and in an established organization

Strong interpersonal and good communication skills

Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Understand business/commercial aspects of logistics and shipping processes

Must be able to lead a team with good management skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office
