Job summary

Lotte Chemical Titan (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a plant operator to ensure safe and efficient operation of the petrochemical plant in Pasir Gudang, Johor. You will monitor equipment, perform field patrols, collect data, and help maintain product quality by sampling and adjusting processes.

Responsibilities include issuing safety permits, starting up and shutting down equipment, cleaning and housekeeping, and raising maintenance requests as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 1 year operation field experience is required.
• Experience in chemicals & plastics manufacturing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the plant equipment.
• Plant patrolling and collect field data.
• Recognize and identify situations that may affect safety equipment or product quality.
• Check product samples and adjust to meet specifications.
• Check and identify equipment for maintenance and raise work requests.
• Carry out housekeeping and equipment cleaning.
• Issue safe work permits / safety watch.
• Start-up / shutdown / commissioning of equipment.
• Safety equipment checks.

Adhere and enforce safety rules and procedures by adopting established safety code and practices and regulatory requirements to all employees working in Safe & Sound environment

Operate and monitor the plant equipment operation

Plant patrolling and collect field data

Recognize and identify any situation or problem that may lead to safety equipment and/or products quality

Check product sample and check the quality / make necessary adjustment to meet the specification

Check and identify plants equipment for maintain and raise work request

Carry out housekeeping and equipment cleaning

Issue safe work permit / safety watch

Start-up / shutdown / commissioning of equipment's
