Job summary

Sunway Retail is seeking a capable Tenant Fit-Out Coordinator to coordinate and manage mall tenant fit-out works in Kuala Lumpur. You will review design submissions, provide design direction, and resolve fit-out issues with Leasing, Procurement, and Facility Management teams.

You will conduct site inspections to ensure works comply with mall guidelines, safety regulations, and approved plans, and perform final inspections prior to store openings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or higher in architecture or interior design.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage tenant fit-out works with tenants and designers.
• Review tenant design submissions for mall guidelines and standards.
• Provide design direction and store planning advice with internal teams.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with approved plans and safety.
• Perform final inspections before store openings.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor Degree, Postgraduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Exposure to current design trends preferably in retail or commercial designs.
• Possess creative aptitude and proficiency in design software and tools.
• Competent in written and spoken English and Bahasa Melayu. Competence in vernacular languages such as Chinese and Tamil would be an added advantage.
• Good interpersonal skills and demonstrates an ability to work in a team.
