Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking a seasoned mall/property operations professional to oversee all facets of daily operations at a major retail center. You will lead safety, security, housekeeping, parking, landscaping and M&E systems, while driving cost efficiencies and ensuring top-tier facility standards.

The role requires a long track record in mall operations, with strong vendor management skills and the ability to coordinate with tenants and regulators to sustain asset value and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree required or equivalent in real estate, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in mall or property operations management.
• Proven ability to supervise daily operational functions and teams.

Responsibilities

• Direct and monitor all aspects of mall/property operations including safety, security, housekeeping, parking, landscaping and M&E systems.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs for building infrastructure.
• Supervise third-party vendors to ensure performance and timely contract fulfilment.
• Manage tenant contractor works ensuring design guideline adherence, safety, and schedules.
• Monitor and optimize operating expenditures and energy use while coordinating with regulators as needed.
• Maintain security and emergency response protocols to safeguard people and assets.
• Conduct routine inspections of common areas and facilities to uphold premium standards.
• Formulate operational budgets and drive cost efficiencies against targets.
