Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Regional Facilities Manager in Malaysia to oversee day-to-day building operations and maintenance for a defined region. You will lead a team, manage schedules, and drive client-focused facility performance.

The role emphasizes leadership, staff development, and adherence to contract specifications, with responsibilities including budgeting, audits, and safety compliance. A relevant degree and 3–5 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in staffing, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
• Ability to convey sensitive information, set expectations, and address problems effectively.
• Strong leadership to drive team performance and operate efficiently.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and strong organizational skills, with solid numerical ability.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff, oversee training and performance evaluations.
• Coordinate daily team activities, schedules, and task assignments.
• Set deadlines and monitor progress for department goals.
• Build and maintain client relationships through regular regional meetings.
• Report on facility profiles, site audits, and compliance with regulations.
• Develop and implement policies to meet contract specifications.
• Prepare project presentations and seek approvals from stakeholders.
• Formulate strategic facility management objectives and manage budgets and variances.
• Inspect facilities for quality assurance and ensure safety standards.
