Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking an Area General Manager (Facilities Svc) to lead operations across Northern Malaysia, based in Penang. You will manage P&L, drive QHSE, compliance, people leadership and business development across assigned contracts.

Responsibilities include recruiting and mentoring Contract Managers, ensuring delivery excellence, maintaining client relationships, and mobilising new contracts while sustaining profitable growth for the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in commercial facilities management.
• Experience leading operations and managing multiple contracts.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of CBRE accounts with P&L ownership and performance metrics.
• Drive safety culture through proactive QHSE management and compliance.
• Oversee recruitment, coaching, and mentoring of Contract Managers.
• Develop growth strategies and retention plans for existing contracts.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction and strong client relationships.
