Job summary

SLP Green Tech Sdn Bhd in Kulim, Malaysia, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee the maintenance of machines and equipment, both mechanical and electrical. The role includes ensuring production, workshop and QA equipment maintenance to meet cost, productivity, and quality targets, and providing technical guidance to production personnel.

You will liaise with regulatory authorities and monitor ISO9001, ISO22000 and BRC compliance.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintenance of the machines and equipment both mechanical and electrical.
• Responsible for production, workshop, and QA equipment maintenance related to mechanical nature.
• Provides technical advice and guidance to the production personnel to achieve cost, productivity and quality requirements.
• Advises the Maintenance Officer on the machine condition and necessary corrective action.
• Assists the Technical Manager and Maintenance Officer in trouble shooting machine / equipment malfunction and establishes corrective action.
• Responsible for the electrical installation and maintenance to support production and general facilities.
• Responsible for the machine / equipment installation and fitting jobs.
• To keep the machine / equipment and workshop clean and orderly.
• Responsible for maintenance of the building.
• To undertake other duties assigned or directed by the Maintenance Officer from time to time.

• Responsible on monitoring the compliance with ISO9001, ISO22000, BRC Standard and related documentation.
