Job summary

This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of our facilities and equipment. As Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance operations, coordinating preventative and corrective maintenance activities, and managing a team of maintenance personnel. This role is essential to our operations, ensuring that all systems and infrastructure operate efficiently and safely at all times.

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or in a similar supervisory maintenance role for a minimum of 5 years
• Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices, preventative maintenance programmes and facility management systems
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, control costs and allocate resources effectively
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
• Technical proficiency in maintaining various building systems, including electrical, plumbing and general mechanical systems
• Sound understanding of health and safety regulations and commitment to maintaining safe working environments
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to report to senior management
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in facility management, maintenance engineering or related fields are preferred
• Computer literacy and experience with maintenance management software is advantageous
