Job summary

Xircle Talent, on behalf of our client, is seeking a Facilities Management professional to provide comprehensive services for critical environments. The role involves continuous facility monitoring and operational support, working with facilities managers on procurement, contract administration, and financial processing for property supplies and services.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, implement energy-saving initiatives, and maintain compliance with HSE standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical/operational engineering is required.
• 3–4 years of engineering or critical environment experience.
• 3–4 years operating electrical and mechanical services in Tier III data centres or similar.
• Hands-on experience with M&E and building systems (CRAC, chillers).
• Experience with Job Hazards Analysis (JHA).
• Critical environment experience on a similar site or operation.

Responsibilities

• Assist Facility Management Team with tactical planning and objectives.
• Recommend continuous management initiatives and energy management plans to reduce costs.
• Provide facility-specific support to the project management team as needed.
• Coordinate and execute facility management tasks and schedules.
• Coordinate events in support of client or company.
• Assist with maintenance activity scheduling and coordination.
• Schedule preventive maintenance and respond to urgent maintenance calls.

About Our Client

Our client is a global professional services firm specializing in commercial real estate and investment management.

Job Summary

This role provides comprehensive facilities management services, including continuous facility monitoring and routine operational support. The position involves collaborating with facilities managers on procurement, contract administration, and financial processing for property supplies and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Facility Management Team with tactical planning for the team's goals and objectives.
• Recommend continuous management initiatives and energy management plan, reviewing existing operations regularly to reduce cost and improve operational standards.
• Provide facility specific assistance to the project management team as needed or requested.
• Manage and maintain facility management tasks as assigned.
• Coordinate special events in support of client or the company.
• Assist with the coordination and scheduling of maintenance activities.
• Schedule preventative maintenance, respond to urgent maintenance calls and participate in the creation of emergency preparedness plans.
• Contract administration and associated reporting.
• Ensure the site provision of safe working environment and compliance to HSE standards.
• Lead major DC activities during non-office hours where appropriate.

Requirements

• Tertiary Qualifications (Bachelors’ Degree) in a mechanical, electrical or operational engineering discipline.
• 3 - 4 years of relevant experience in engineering or critical environment space.
• 3 - 4 years' experience in the operation of electrical and mechanical services in Tier III or equivalent data centre or critical facility.
• Hands-on experience and knowledge in M&E and building related systems, e.g., CRAC, chillers.
• Competent in undertaking Job Hazards Analysis (JHA).
• Critical environment experience within a similar sized site or operation.
• Excellent people skills and ability to interact with a wide range of client and vendor staff.
• Experienced with continuous improvement initiatives, client relationship, and preparation of documentation.
