Job summary

Malaya Glass Products Sdn Bhd in Johor Bahru seeks a skilled CNC Machinist/Setter to program Mazak and Fanuc controllers, set up and operate CNC turning machines, and perform routine inspections.

You will read engineering drawings, document daily activity, drive 5S housekeeping for spare parts, and participate in on-the-job training with the manufacturing team.

Qualifications

• SPM/SPVM or Technical Certificate required.
• Fresh graduates with relevant technical qualifications encouraged.
• 1–2 years CNC machining experience is an added advantage.
• Willing to learn and undergo on-the-job training (OJT).
• Ability to read engineering drawings and perform basic reporting.

Responsibilities

• Create and adjust programming for Mazak and Fanuc controllers.

Create and adjust programming for Mazaktrol controller and Fanuc controller.

Set up and operate CNC turning machine (Fanuc & Mazak).

Perform machine inspections and preventive maintenance.

Record daily job activity and cost saving project.

Improve 5s activity for machine spare parts and record.

Perform other duties assigned by superior.

Requirements:

Minimum SPM/SPVM or Technical Certificate qualification.

Fresh graduates with relevant technical qualifications are encouraged to apply. 1–2 years of relevant CNC machining experience is an added advantage.

Willing to learn and able to undergo on-the-job training (OJT).

Basic knowledge in using air tools, welding torch, and measurement gauges (GO/NO GO).

Ability to perform basic reporting and documentation.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with high integrity.

Physically fit to work in a factory environment.

Positive “can-do” attitude with good attention to detail.
