Job summary

Micro-Mechanics Technology Sdn Bhd (182707-X) is seeking a skilled operator to set and run conventional and CNC machines for machining and assembly of parts. You will perform in-process inspection to ensure quality, cost and cycle targets while entering data and maintaining records.

The role requires ability to read drawings, use precision measurement tools, and maintain production records. Training and safe working habits are emphasized as part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate conventional machines including milling, grinding and turning
• Set and operate CNC machines and understand basic programming or program editing of a routine nature
• Read and interpret drawings and perform in-process inspection using caliper, micrometer, microscope and gauge tools
• Maintain production records and perform housekeeping of tools and equipment and practice safe working habits
• Perform assembly and installation of accessories on parts
• Attend necessary job related trainings as required in training matrix

Job description

Set and operate conventional and CNC machines to perform machining and/or assembly of parts and/or secondary process operations. Perform in-process inspection to ensure meeting quality, cost and cycle time targets. Enter data and maintain records.

Key responsibilities

Set and operate conventional machines including milling, grinding and turning

Set and operate CNC machines and understand basic programming or program editing of a routine nature

Read and interpret drawings and perform in-process inspection using caliper, micrometer, microscope and gauge tools

Maintain production records and perform housekeeping of tools and equipment and practice safe working habits

Perform assembly and installation of accessories on parts

Attend necessary job related trainings as required in training matrix

About you

We also design and manufacture parts and tooling to custom specifications on a contract basis for equipment and other high-tech industries.
