Job summary

Pembinaan Mitrajaya Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Mechanical & Electrical site supervisor to oversee M&E installations on our construction projects. You will ensure compliance with drawings, specs, and safety standards while coordinating with subcontractors and engineers.

The ideal candidate has a professional engineering credential, CIDB CSS (or equivalent), and at least 3 years in construction. This role requires leadership, proactive problem solving, and a hands-on approach on site.

Qualifications

• Must hold professional certificate or diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of construction industry experience.
• CIDB CSS preferred or equivalent.
• Knowledge of M&E systems, codes, regulations, and standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specs.
• Leader with strong coordination and proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Implement QESH policies and procedures relevant to M&E work.
• Comply with client requirements and legal obligations.
• Implement actions from risks and opportunities assessments.
• Take responsibility and accountability for prevention of work-related injury and ill health in own area.
• Oversee M&E installations within construction projects.
• Ensure that M&E works meet project specs, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Prepare reports for information requests or deviations from standards.
• Coordinate closely with subcontractors, vendors, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth integration of M&E systems with overall construction activities.
• Supervise and manage subcontractors' daily work, ensuring materials, equipment, personnel, and tools are available and safe.
• Implement and enforce quality control measures for M&E installations.
• Monitor progress, identify delays, and proactively address obstacles.
• Attend project site meetings and technical meetings with clients or consultants.
• Undertake any other duties as instructed by superiors.

• Monitor progress, identify potential delays or obstacles, and proactively implement strategies to keep the project on track.
• Attend all project site meetings as well as technical meetings with clients or consultants.
• Undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior.
