Job summary

Howdy Master Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an M&E engineer to assist in planning, design and implementation of building services for construction projects.

You will prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, and project documentation, and support tendering, contracting and technical proposals. The role involves site coordination, ensuring compliance with standards, and collaboration with consultants and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in M&E engineering, building services or project management is an advantage.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, design and implementation of M&E engineering systems for building and construction projects.
• Prepare, review and modify engineering drawings, specifications and project documentation.
• Support tendering, contracting, costing and technical proposal preparation.
• Coordinate and monitor M&E installation works, site activities and construction progress.
• Ensure engineering works comply with Malaysian standards, local authority regulations, safety requirements and project specifications.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, suppliers and internal project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Conduct site inspections and assist in troubleshooting technical issues.
• Monitor schedules, quality standards and work progress to ensure timely completion.
• Use AutoCAD and other relevant software to prepare technical drawings and designs.
• Perform other engineering and project-related duties as assigned by management.

Key responsibilities

Prepare, review and modify engineering drawings, technical specifications and project documentation

Support project tendering, contracting, costing and technical proposal preparation

Coordinate and monitor M&E installation works, site activities and construction progress

Ensure all engineering works comply with Malaysian standards, local authority regulations, safety requirements and project specifications

Liaise with consultants, contractors, suppliers and internal project teams to ensure smooth project execution

About you

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field

Familiar with M&E systems, engineering drawings and construction practices

Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications

Knowledge of Malaysian engineering standards, building regulations and construction requirements

Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills

Able to work independently and collaboratively with project teams

Willing to travel to project sites when required
