Job summary

MGB Berhad is seeking a capable M&E Coordinator to supervise day-to-day Mechanical & Electrical works on site, ensuring smooth execution and timely completion. You will plan and coordinate M&E with C&S and Architectural teams to ensure proper site coordination.

Responsibilities include monitoring progress and quality against drawings and specifications, liaising with clients, consultants and subcontractors, attending meetings, preparing minutes and handover documents, and coordinating testing,

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline.
• Relevant working experience in M&E coordination or site supervision in construction.
• Good knowledge of M&E construction works, drawings, specifications, and testing & commissioning.
• Strong coordination and communication skills to liaise with stakeholders.
• Experience in high-rise residential projects is an advantage.

• Monitor and follow up on site issues, non-conformities, and coordination matters with subcontractors.
• Prepare and maintain M&E progress reports, site diaries, correspondence, and project documentation.
• Verify subcontractors’ monthly progress claims based on actual work completed.
• Coordinate the preparation of as-built drawings and project handover documents.
• Carry out other duties and assignments as required by superiors.

Job Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline.

Relevant working experience in M&E coordination or site supervision, preferably within the construction industry.

Good knowledge of M&E construction works, drawings, specifications, and testing & commissioning processes.

Good coordination and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.

Prior experience in high-rise residential construction projects will be an added advantage.

Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a site environment.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
