Job summary

PC Construction Sdn Bhd is seeking a Mechanical & Electrical Engineer (Construction) with at least 3 years of project experience to lead and coordinate M&E works on our sites in Malaysia. You will ensure technical compliance, quality delivery and effective coordination among consultants, subcontractors and project teams.

The role requires a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and hands-on site execution knowledge, with the ability to review drawings, method statements, conduct testing

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction experience.
• Experience coordinating M&E works independently.
• Strong understanding of site execution and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all mechanical and/or electrical works on assigned projects.
• Review and verify shop drawings, method statements and technical submissions.
• Monitor site progress and proactively resolve technical and coordination issues.
• Liaise closely with consultants, subcontractors and internal project team.
• Ensure installations comply with approved drawings, specifications and authority requirements.
• Oversee testing, commissioning and handover processes.
• Monitor material usage and ensure compliance with approved specifications.
• Attend technical and coordination meetings, providing sound engineering input.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and Company Quality Control Plan (QCP).
• Prepare progress reports and assist in cost and variation assessment.
• Any other related duties as assigned.
