Responsibilities

  • Oversee all inbound material receiving activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of materials.
  • Ensure all receiving-related documentation is completed accurately and complies with procedures.
  • Maintain an effective inventory control system with real-time recording of all inventory transactions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate issuance of raw materials to production based on plans and material requests.
  • Monitor consumable inventory levels and raise purchase requisitions when stock reaches the minimum level.
  • Coordinate with 3PL warehouse providers to ensure material availability and inventory accuracy.
  • Plan monthly and annual physical stock counts and investigate discrepancies.
  • Implement and continuously improve QMS procedures for Receiving, Warehousing, Kitting, Inventory Control, and Shipping operations.
  • Supervise warehouse personnel and ensure safety, discipline, and adherence to policies.
  • Promote 5S housekeeping and continuous improvement in warehouse environment.

Job description

  • Oversee all inbound material receiving activities to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and condition of materials received from both local and overseas suppliers.
  • Ensure all receiving-related documentation (e.g., Goods Receipt Notes, staffing tally reports, delivery documents, and other warehouse records) is completed accurately and complies with company procedures and quality standards.
  • Maintain an effective inventory control system by ensuring timely and accurate recording of all inventory transactions (receipts, issues, transfers, and adjustments) to provide real-time inventory accuracy.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate issuance of raw materials to production based on production plans, material requests, and priority requirements.
  • Monitor and control consumable inventory levels, raise purchase requisitions when stock reaches the minimum level, and prevent production disruptions due to stock shortages.
  • Maintain optimum inventory levels by coordinating closely with Production Planning and Purchasing, while providing urgent material requirements and delivery schedules to support operational needs.
  • Coordinate with the Purchasing department and suppliers for the return, replacement, or disposition of defective, damaged, or non-conforming materials.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute monthly and annual physical stock counts, investigate inventory discrepancies, and prepare accurate inventory audit reports.
  • Implement, maintain, and continuously improve Quality Management System (QMS) procedures for Receiving, Warehousing, Kitting, Inventory Control, and Shipping operations.
  • Supervise warehouse personnel by monitoring attendance, discipline, productivity, adherence to break schedules, compliance with safety procedures, company policies, and Rules & Regulations (R&R).
  • Promote and sustain 5S housekeeping standards, safe work practices, and continuous improvement initiatives to maintain an organized and safe warehouse environment.
  • Coordinate inventory storage and retrieval activities with third-party logistics (3PL) warehouse providers to ensure timely material availability and inventory accuracy.
  • Monitor warehouse Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including receiving turnaround time, inventory accuracy, stock discrepancies, picking accuracy, and on-time material delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with inventory control procedures, FIFO/FEFO practices where applicable, and company policies to minimize inventory loss and obsolescence.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies, receiving issues, and operational problems, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous process improvements.
  • Collaborate with Production, Planning, Purchasing, Quality, and Logistics teams to ensure uninterrupted material flow and efficient warehouse operations.
  • Ensure all warehouse operations comply with company quality standards, safety regulations, and applicable statutory or regulatory requirements.
  • Perform any other duties or projects assigned by Management to support warehouse and logistics operations.
