Serve as the Subject Matter Expert in managing warehouse operations.
Supervise site warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, repairs, issuing, deliveries, returns, and storage of materials and equipment.
Achieve key performance targets such as inventory reliability/availability (99%+), line-item accuracy (99%+), and inventory optimisation planning.
Ensure excellent housekeeping standards and effective management of HSSE risks.
Ensure HSSE roles and responsibilities are strictly adhered to by all warehouse personnel and users of the facility.
Ensure all goods and equipment handling complies with HRC HSSE and Quality standards.
Lead stock counts to ensure accuracy and reliability of inventory data.
Develop and implement effective stocking strategies that meet business and financial goals, including programs to reduce obsolete, excessive, or dormant stock.
Work closely with Finance to plan and budget for potential inventory write-offs.
Ensure proper material preservation and storage conditions.
Develop turnaround and project support plans (resources and space planning).
Collaborate effectively with Contracting & Procurement (CP) and end users at all levels to ensure material availability and operational excellence.
Represent the Warehouse and Inventory Management team in customer meetings to address requirements and resolve issues.
Implement processes to ensure material quality, including Positive Material Identification (PMI); monitor supplier performance and coordinate corrective actions with Contracting & Procurement .
Manage the Project Material Direct Charge program and ensure accountability.
Lead dormant and surplus stock reduction initiatives; develop long-term strategies to minimize obsolete inventory.
Ensure project surplus materials are managed and closed out properly by Project Managers or Project Engineers.
Oversee inventory management activities, including vendor-managed inventory (VMI).
Maintain accountability for warehouse facilities and storage yards.
Serve as the customer service focal point for site inventory management and warehousing matters.
Manage warehouse operations within the approved operating budget.
Develop and manage warehouse requirements for third-party service providers and contracts (e.g., labor, investment recovery, etc.).
Align team resources and plant users to implement and sustain effective stocking strategies.
Support buyers by ensuring existing stock materials are used before new purchases are made.
Drive continuous improvement in warehouse operations, with focus on reducing dormant and slow-moving stock.
Develop and maintain operational dashboards to monitor warehouse performance, including goods received, goods issued, and frustrated issues.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in warehouse or materials management, preferably in the oil & gas, energy, or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of HSSE standards, inventory control systems, and warehouse best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage cross-functional collaboration.
- Excellent analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (e.g., SAP, PGS Module, Oracle).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Basic knowledge of spare parts, consumables, chemicals, and PPE.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
