Private Advertiser in Malaysia seeks a seasoned Supply Chain leader to drive end-to-end procurement, inventory, and logistics. You will align S&OP, optimize stock, manage supplier performance, and push cost reductions across ERP/MRP/WMS platforms.
The role requires 7–10 years in supply chain with 3–5 years in leadership, preferably in manufacturing, and certifications like CIPS/CSCP are a plus.
Develop and execute integrated supply chain strategies across MRP, material purchasing, and inventory replenishment.
Align sales, production, and procurement schedules to prevent material shortages and eliminate excess stock.
Establish reorder points, safety stock levels, and supply risk mitigation plans.
Manage end-to-end purchasing activities, sourcing, supplier selection, and contract negotiations (price, MOQ, lead times, payment terms).
Maintain the Approved Supplier List (ASL) and conduct regular vendor performance audits (quality, OTIF, cost).
Build strategic relationships with backup suppliers for critical raw materials to ensure business continuity.
Maintain optimal stock levels (Raw Materials, WIP, Finished Goods) to minimize working capital and reduce obsolete inventory.
Oversee warehouse operations, ensuring stock accuracy in ERP/WMS systems, proper storage, picking, issuing, and physical stock counts.
Oversee inbound/outbound logistics, freight forwarders, and 3PL performance to ensure timely, cost-effective transport.
Optimize delivery routes and shipping documentation for both local and export shipments.
Manage the end-to-end order-to-delivery lifecycle, coordinating with Sales and Production to ensure high On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) rates.
Monitor backorders, resolve customer delivery complaints, and maintain effective communication regarding order statuses.
Lead, mentor, and set KPIs for the Supply Chain, Procurement, Warehouse, and Customer Service teams.
Drive annual cost-reduction initiatives, monitor departmental budgets, and uphold strict compliance with internal audits and company policies.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Certifications: Professional certifications (e.g., CIPS, CSCP, CPIM, CLTD, or equivalent) are an added advantage.
Total Experience: 7–10 years in end-to-end supply chain, procurement, logistics, or warehouse operations.
Leadership Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
