Job summary

Linergy Power Sdn Bhd seeks an experienced Logistics & Customs Specialist to manage overseas shipments and mass-production logistics under EXW, CIF, DAP and DDP terms. You will handle import/export logistics, customs clearance, and regulatory matters, while continuously optimizing processes.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in logistics/related field and at least 3 years of customs/logistics experience, with strong English and Chinese communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Logistics, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in customs clearance, import/export logistics, or a related position.
  • Strong knowledge of customs declaration, international trade, logistics operations, and basic accounting.
  • Proficient in import/export customs declaration, commodity code classification, tax payment, customs fee reconciliation, and customs declaration accuracy control.
  • Experience in lithium-ion battery logistics and land, sea, and air transportation is an advantage.
  • Strong proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking, and listening); Chinese communication skills are required.
  • Proficient in SAP/ERP systems and Microsoft Excel/Office.

Responsibilities

  • Manage overseas sample shipments and mass-production logistics under EXW, CIF, DAP, and DDP terms.
  • Handle import/export logistics, customs clearance, and related regulatory matters.
  • Develop, organize, and optimize logistics and customs processes.
  • Manage daily logistics operations, including shipment booking, tracking, exception handling, and cost control.
  • Prepare monthly logistics expense budgets and cost analysis.
  • Drive logistics cost-reduction initiatives and follow up on improvement actions.
  • Reconcile accounts with ocean freight and logistics service providers and process payment requests through the system.
  • Monitor and report monthly department KPI performance.
  • Handle abnormal logistics and customs issues and coordinate with relevant parties for timely resolution.

Job Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of customs declaration, international trade, logistics operations, and basic accounting.
  • Proficient in import/export customs declaration, commodity code classification, tax payment, customs fee reconciliation, and customs declaration accuracy control.
  • Experience in lithium‑ion battery logistics and land, sea, and air transportation is an advantage.
  • Strong proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking, and listening); Chinese communication skills are required.
  • Proficient in SAP/ERP systems and Microsoft Excel/Office.
  • Strong communication, coordination, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Able to respond quickly and effectively to logistics and customs‑related exceptions.
  • Strong sense of ownership, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
