Job summary

Swift Haulage Berhad is Malaysia's leading integrated logistics provider. We are seeking a Sales and Marketing Executive to expand our Business Development Department and drive growth across container haulage, land transportation, warehousing and freight forwarding.

The role requires building new business opportunities, managing accounts, and delivering logistics solutions that meet client needs. A strong network in the logistics industry and a proactive, results-oriented mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years sales experience in the logistics industry.
• Experience in freight forwarding and inland trucking is a plus.
• Existing customer network or ability to bring own clientele is advantageous.
• Good knowledge of freight forwarding and logistics operations.
• Strong communication, negotiation, presentation and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive, target-driven and results-oriented.
• Able to travel and possess own transport.
• Candidates available to start on short notice have an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities and potential customers.
• Proactively source, acquire and secure new accounts and business.
• Develop logistics solutions that meet customers’ business needs and requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, business partners and internal teams.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to the company’s P&L objectives.
• Liaise with Customs, forwarding companies and relevant parties on import/export matters.
• Ensure compliance with applicable transportation, freight forwarding and shipping requirements.
• Perform other duties assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.
