Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• At least 3 years of working experience in ocean freight operations and quotations, with exposure to customer service.
• Air freight knowledge is an added advantage.
• Independent, flexible, resourceful, and strong problem-solving.
• 1 months notice is required upon resignation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate, competitive quotations for ocean freight shipments.
• Coordinate end-to-end ocean freight operations, including booking, documentation, and communication with carriers, vendors, and customers.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing timely updates, handling inquiries, and resolving operational issues with professionalism.
• Liaise with overseas agents (especially in Korea) and local service providers to ensure efficient shipment handling.
• Source and negotiate rates with warehouse operators, transport companies, and subcontractors.
• Ensure smooth coordination of inbound and outbound shipments while meeting cost, accuracy, and timeliness targets.
• Assist MD and Manager in achieving the company goals and objective.
• Perform any ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

This role is essential in supporting sales activities, managing shipment execution, and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction through timely communication and issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities

Support the sales team by preparing accurate and competitive quotations, particularly for ocean freight shipments.

Coordinate and manage end-to-end ocean freight operations, including booking, documentation, and communication with carriers, vendors, and customers.

Act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing timely updates, handling inquiries, and resolving operational issues with professionalism.
