Qualifications

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Assistant Logistics Manager (Air & Sea Freight) to join our growing team.

In this role, you will play a key leadership function in supporting sales and operations—including quotation preparation, carrier rate negotiations, and customer management. Additionally, you will oversee operational workflows, air & ocean operation, and ensure high levels of service delivery for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Sales Support & Business Development: Assist sales teams in preparing competitive quotations, acquiring new key accounts (primarily targeting Korean and Malaysian markets), and managing client inquiries to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Operational Execution: Oversee and ensure the seamless execution of inbound and outbound freight forwarding operations across air and ocean logistics.
• Service Excellence & Resolution: Proactively address client issues and service complaints while driving continuous process improvements.

Requirements

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or a related discipline.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in air and sea freight forwarding, with demonstrated experience in operational management.
• Core Competencies: Strong problem-solving skills, highly resourceful, adaptable, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Location/Flexibility: Open to relocation and working at a new corporate office in Kuala Lumpur (exact location to be confirmed).
• Contractual Terms: A standard 2-month notice period is required upon resignation for this position.
