Job summary

Jebsen & Jessen in Malaysia is seeking a capable Logistics Manager to oversee MRP runs for Parts & Services, manage stock-takes, and optimize warehouse space. The role collaborates with internal teams, suppliers, and 3PL to ensure efficient operations and timely reporting.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Business Administration/Logistics and has at least 3 years of relevant experience, with strong ERP and computer skills to support inventory control and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Business Administration/ Logistics Management or related field.
• 3 years solid experience in relevant field.
• Solid foundation in technology - computer skills and ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Execute MRP runs for Parts & Services.
• Prepare and submit monthly parts sales fill rate reports.
• Optimize storage space through inventory management and disposal of obsolete inventory.
• Conduct periodic stock-take activities and minimize variances.
• Manage B2B purchase orders, supplier coordination, shipment follow-up and status updates.
• Coordinate customs clearance, goods receipt processes, and inventory system updates.
• Work closely with 3PL partners to support inbound logistics activities.
• Ensure timely submission of documents for AP processing.
• Support QEHS compliance with QMS and EHS policies.
• Participate in warehouse improvement activities with the EAT team.

Working closely with internal teams, suppliers/ vendors and 3PL to ensure timely managerial & operational duties.

Responsibilities

1. Managerial / Supervisory

• Execute MRP runs for Parts & Services.
• Prepare and submit monthly parts sales fill rate reports.
• Optimize storage space through effective inventory management and collaboration with Service Manager on obsolete inventory disposal.
• Conduct periodic stock-take activities and minimize inventory variances.

2. Operational

• Manage B2B purchase orders, including timely issuance, supplier coordination, shipment follow-up, and status updates.
• Coordinate customs clearance, goods receipt processes, and inventory system updates.
• Work closely with 3PL partners to support inbound logistics activities.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of supporting documents for Accounts Payable (AP) processing.
• Support inventory management activities and other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
• Participate as a QEHS committee member to ensure compliance with QMS and EHS policies.
• Support company EAT team initiatives and participate in workshop and warehouse improvement activities.
