POSON SDN BHD in Malaysia is seeking a dedicated Logistics Executive to coordinate warehousing, inventory flow and distribution. You will optimise supply chains to meet customer requirements and drive efficiency across operations in Bintulu, Sarawak.

The role requires 2–3 years in logistics, strong Excel skills and familiarity with logistics software. You will liaise with suppliers and transport partners while ensuring health and safety standards are upheld.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
• 2–3 years experience in logistics, warehousing or distribution operations.
• Strong knowledge of inventory systems and logistics software applications.
• Proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with multitasking ability.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with teams and stakeholders.
• Problem-solving and proactive approach to process improvements.
• Knowledge of HSE standards in warehouse operations.
• Attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
• Malaysian driving licence preferred.

• Manage inventory levels and conduct stock reconciliations.
• Plan and optimise distribution routes for timely, cost-efficient delivery.
• Liaise with suppliers, customers and transport providers.
• Prepare shipping manifests and logistics documentation.
• Monitor warehouse KPIs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Troubleshoot logistics issues and implement corrective actions.
• Support training and supervision of warehouse staff.
• Oversee maintenance of warehouse equipment.

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Logistics Executive to join the team at POSON SDN BHD in Bintulu, Sarawak. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehousing, storage and distribution activities. As a Logistics Executive, you will be responsible for coordinating logistics operations, managing inventory flow, and optimising supply chain processes to meet our operational objectives and customer requirements. This role is essential to maintaining our competitive advantage and supporting the growth of our business in the region.

What you'll be doing

Coordinating and overseeing daily warehousing operations, including receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods

Managing inventory levels and ensuring accurate stock records through regular audits and reconciliation

Planning and optimising distribution routes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products

Liaising with suppliers, customers and transport providers to facilitate smooth logistics operations

Preparing and maintaining logistics documentation, shipping manifests, and delivery records

Monitoring warehouse performance metrics and identifying opportunities for process improvement and cost optimisation

Ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations within the warehouse facility

Troubleshooting logistics issues and implementing corrective actions to resolve delays or discrepancies

Supporting the training and supervision of warehouse staff to maintain operational standards

Managing warehouse equipment and coordinating maintenance activities as required

What we’re looking for

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field

Minimum 2-3 years of experience working in logistics, warehousing, or distribution operations

Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and logistics software applications

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting

Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders

Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements

Knowledge of health, safety and environmental (HSE) standards in warehouse operations

Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation

Physical capability to perform warehouse duties and site inspections as required

Familiarity with port operations and customs documentation is advantageous

Malaysian driving licence is preferred
