POSON SDN BHD in Bintulu, Sarawak is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our warehousing and distribution operations on-site. You will coordinate and optimise logistics activities to ensure smooth movement of goods and support our manufacturing, transport and logistics objectives.

This role focuses on coordinating receipts, storage and dispatch, managing inventories, and liaising with transport operators and customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, warehousing or distribution, preferably in manufacturing or transport.
• Strong organisational and coordination skills; able to manage multiple tasks.
• Proficient with warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; team and external partner coordination.
• Attention to detail; maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Knowledge of health and safety practices in warehouse operations.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing operational demands.
• Secondary education or equivalent; qualifications in logistics are advantageous.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

About the role

We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our warehousing and distribution operations in Bintulu, Sarawak. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and optimising logistics activities to ensure the smooth and efficient movement of goods through our facility. You will play a vital part in maintaining our operational standards and supporting the overall objectives of our manufacturing, transport and logistics business. This position is based on-site in Bintulu, Sarawak, and offers the opportunity to develop expertise in a dynamic logistics environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinating the receipt, storage and dispatch of goods in accordance with established warehouse procedures and safety protocols
• Managing inventory records and maintaining accurate documentation of stock movements and warehouse activities
• Liaising with transport operators, suppliers and customers to arrange and track shipments and deliveries
• Monitoring warehouse performance metrics and reporting on key logistics indicators to management
• Assisting in the organisation and optimisation of warehouse layout and storage systems
• Supporting the scheduling and coordination of loading and unloading activities
• Identifying and resolving logistics issues and discrepancies in a timely manner
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations within the warehouse facility
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency

• Proven experience working in a logistics, warehousing or distribution environment, ideally within the manufacturing or transport sector

• Secondary education or equivalent; additional qualifications in logistics or supply chain management would be advantageous
