Job summary

Jstar Motion Sdn. Bhd in Kulai, Johor is seeking a Logistics Executive/Officer to coordinate end-to-end logistics operations, plan transport, negotiate carrier rates and ensure timely deliveries.

The role requires a diploma or degree, at least 3 years in logistics, familiarity with SAP/MRP, and knowledge of international freight and customs processes. Fresh graduates may apply for the Officer level.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end logistics operations to ensure efficient supply chain.
• Plan and coordinate transportation of goods, including carrier selection and rate negotiation.
• Monitor and control logistics costs, including transport, warehousing, and packaging.
• Coordinate daily stuffing/unstuffing schedule with Warehouse.
• Collaborate with business support teams to resolve logistics issues and ensure on-time, safe delivery.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards, including shipping documentation, customs and import/export procedures.
• Assist department with checking, counting and tallying export shipment quantities.
• Assist department in preparing loading reports, packing lists, commercial invoices, shipping instructions and full set of shipping documents.

Job description

We are a multi-national company involved developing, manufacturing and marketing for intelligent and ergonomic products, located in I-park Industrial area, Kulai, Johor. We are looking to hire for Logistic Executive/ Officer

You will play an important role in:

Managing and coordinating the end-to-end logistics operations, ensuring that the supply chain runs efficiently and effectively

Plan and coordinate transportation of goods, including selecting carriers, negotiating rates, and ensuring timely deliveries.

Monitor and control logistics costs, including transportation, warehousing, and packaging, aiming to reduce overhead while maintaining quality service.

Coordinate with Warehouse daily stuffing and unstuffing schedule

Collaborate with business support teams to resolve any issues related to logistics, ensuring that customers receive their goods on time and in good condition.

Ensure that all logistics activities comply with legal, regulatory, and company standards. This includes proper documentation of shipments, customs, and import/export procedures.

Responsible for assisting dept check, count and tally export shipment quantity.

Responsible for assisting dept to prepare loading report, packing list, commercial invoice, shipping instruction, full set shipping documents

To succeed in this role, we will need you to have:

Min. Diploma / Degree in any fields.

At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field.

Familiar with office software, SAP/MRP software.

Familiar with the international freight process and customs declaration and clearance process

Strong understanding of supply chain and logistics processes

Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply for Officer position.
