Job summary

DSV is seeking a dedicated logistics professional in Malaysia to coordinate customer orders, monitor cargo movements, and plan bookings with our fleet and vendors. You will be the single point of contact for assigned customers, handling documentation, customs declarations, and daily communications to ensure smooth shipments.

You will input data into the Transport Management System, generate KPI reports, and participate in customer meetings and inquiries.

Responsibilities

• To liaise with customers for order bookings.
• Single point of contact person for the customers assigned to you.
• To constantly monitor cargo movement locally and cross-border.
• To plan bookings by arranging trucks with our own fleet or vendors.
• To assist and prepare other requirements as per the customer’s request, such as customs declarations.
• To ensure loading and unloading activities are executed without escalation.
• To inform and update the customer regularly on movement.
• To communicate with customers on a daily basis via email/phone, fulfil their requests, and follow their SOPs without fail.
• Take ownership of customer issues/escalations.
• Manage, update, and review customer KPIs and reports.
• Attend customer meetings, QBRs, and inquiries.
• To input Transport Management System data for shipments.
• To compute movement information in the database.
• To prepare and compile shipment documents for submission to billing.
